Der Workshop richtet sich an Bau- und Umweltingenieurinnen und -ingenieure und verbindet praxisnahe Übungen, fachlich fundierte Sessions und reale Anwendungsbeispiele. Mit der im Kurs enthaltenen 30-Tage-FLOW-3D-HYDRO-Lizenz erhalten Sie nicht nur Zugang zu einer leistungsstarken CFD-Software, sondern auch das Know-how, um Strömungssimulationen gezielt in Ihren ingenieurtechnischen Arbeitsalltag zu integrieren.

Anhand geführter, praxisorientierter Übungen führt unser Online-Workshop Bau- und Umweltingenieurinnen und
-ingenieure systematisch in die Arbeit mit FLOW-3D HYDRO ein.
Der Workshop startet mit einer Live-Präsentation und einer Einführung in die Grundlagen der numerischen Strömungsmechanik (CFD). Anschließend folgen Schritt-für-Schritt-Lektionen, die über mehrere Wochen durch regelmäßige Meetings begleitet werden. Diese Meetings bieten zusätzliche Lerneinheiten sowie Raum für individuelle Fragen.
Alle Teilnehmenden erhalten eine 30-Tage-FLOW-3D-HYDRO-Lizenz.
Im Workshop lernen Sie, die FLOW-3D-HYDRO-Benutzeroberfläche effizient zu nutzen, Simulationen aufzusetzen, durchzuführen und auszuwerten sowie bewährte Methoden für CFD-Modellierungen anzuwenden. Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, sich mit weiterführenden Modellierungsthemen auseinanderzusetzen, die für Ihre konkreten Anwendungen relevant sind.
Für wen ist der Workshop geeignet?
Unsere FLOW-3D-HYDRO-Workshops richten sich an Ingenieure/rinnen und angehende Ingenieure aus wasserbezogenen Infrastrukturprojekten, darunter Wasserkraft, Hochwasser- und Überflutungsschutz, Hafen- und Küstenbauwerke, Brücken und Durchlässe, Talsperren und Dammbau sowie Maßnahmen der ökologischen Gewässerentwicklung.

- Wie Sie hydraulische Freispiegelsimulationen einrichten, durchführen und auswerten.
- Wie Sie zusätzliche Physikmodelle, z.B. Sedimenttransport, Kolkentwicklung, Partikel- oder Lufteintrag integrieren, um komplexere Fragestellungen zu untersuchen.
- Wie Sie moderne Visualisierungstools nutzen, um Simulationsergebnisse verständlich, präzise und überzeugend zu präsentieren.

Designed for civil and environmental engineers, this hands-on training combines expert-led sessions, practical exercises, and real-world applications to help you confidently simulate and analyze complex free-surface flows. Our online workshop introduce civil and environmental engineers to the FLOW-3D HYDRO software through a series of guided, hands-on exercises.
- The workshops begin with a live presentation and an overview of CFD fundamentals, followed by step-by-step lessons. They then progress with weekly meetings, which include additional lessons and the opportunity to ask questions.
- Workshop attendees will receive a 30-day FLOW-3D HYDRO licence.
By attending, you will learn how to use the FLOW-3D HYDRO interface, how to set up, run and analyse simulations, and become familiar with CFD modelling best practices. You will also have the opportunity to explore advanced modelling topics relevant to your application.
